The class combines a combination of teacher guided deep tissue self-massage on various muscle groups using a range of differing sized yoga therapy balls along with static, floor-based deep tissue stretches of yin yoga.
The yin yoga holds lengthen and strengthen the fascia, while the yoga therapy balls give deeper access into the muscles and muscle fibres to pry apart muscle adhesions, knots and trigger points. At all times you control the amount of pressure applied to each muscle group.
